When it comes to installing non-slip flooring or tapes, preparing the surface is very important to achieve the best results. This markasafety Primer is suitable for properly sealing porous surfaces such as stone, wood and concrete before you begin the installation process of any of our markagrip anti-slip tapes. When this product is applied, it will work to stop any moisture that may be on the surface from soaking into the adhesive and breaking it down.
The primer creates a strong bond on other surfaces to deliver the best possible results when securing any of our products to a porous surface.
Our markasafety primer is available as both an aqueous and solvent based primer. Our solvent-based primer delivers the best results, as it will cure faster and at lower temperatures while maintaining the best overall performance, but is solvent based. Our water-based primer is ideal for areas where the uses of solvents is not permitted or practical.
Available in either 1 litre tins or a smaller 500ml pack for smaller areas. A 1 litre tin would cover approximately 5 square meters. Application of the primer is quick and simple. All you need to do is brush the primer onto the required surface and allow to dry prior to tape application.
