Our Water & Additive Fire Extinguisher ID Sign – Portrait clearly displays what a water and additive fire extinguisher should and should not be used for. It is designed to be situated on or beside the corresponding fire extinguisher so that everyone is informed on how best to extinguish a fire before it becomes too dangerous.

The chemical additives that are added to the water in these extinguishers makes them safe to use on live electrical equipment up to 1000v at a distance of 1m. Water extinguishers are ideal for fighting Class A, wood, paper and fabric fires and should never be used on flammable liquid or metal fires. This sign uses bright red and green colours as well as iconographic symbols of a fire extinguisher to allow people to quickly discern what it should or should not be used for.
